Independent magazine Trip questions whether the ignorance and lack of empathy ever so present in the Brazilian elite is the true indicator of a deficient education system.
For the 272nd edition of the magazine, I made portraits of the 16 people interviewed for the article "Quem Precisa de Educação" (Who Truly Needs Education) - and the cover illustration.
There were first drafts using the Monopoly mascot as an instantly recognizable symbol of the wealthy, powerful and greedy - it had to be discarded after we realized we couldn't use his image.
A few adaptations didn't make the cut for the magazine but were featured on the online article.
