Olho da Rua | Out On The Streets
Olho Da Rua (Out On The Streets) is Gol's inflight magazine illustrated section dedicated to providing the best tourist recommendations along one street from a selected country from Gol's destinations.
I had the pleasure to illustrate a few editions.
Uruguay
In this edition we’re taken to a charming pedestrianised street in Montevidéu - Peatonal Sarandí. I chose to work with primary colour highlights and blunt cut-out shapes inspired by the constructivist works of José Gurvich.

Curitiba
Curitiba is a charming city in the South of Brazil, and Prudente de Moraes Street is brimming with exciting independent businesses. I chose a retro-futuristic language to represent Curitiba’s well preserved model city-planning from the 1970s, but also its forward thinking inhabitants.

Orlando
Florida is a popular destination for Brazilian tourists, but could Orlando be more than Dinseyland? Inspired by American cartoons and sports mascots, I illustrated Church Street to present a different type of playground the city can offer.
